METHODOLOGY

Concrete Slabs

4mm Torch-On

  • Clean surface (Dust free)

  • Saturate surface with bituprimer 88% for Best adhesion

  • Fully bond by Heat Welding 4mm torch-on to surface

  • Include welding to outlets and to vertical walls

  • Overlaps to be 75mm, Butt joins to be 100mm, up-laps to be 100mm Saturate with Bitumen Silver UV protective agent

Corrugated Roof IBR, Inverted Box Rib


Polyester / Glass fiber membrane applied to bolt heads, lap and butt joints

  • Clean and prepare area

  • Coat surface with either bitumen or acrylic bonding liquid

  • Lay Polyester membrane into liquid

  • Re-coat surface with either bitumen or acrylic bonding liquid

  • Finish with UV stable final coat

Expansion Jointing

Expanding Foam and Polyurethane systems

  • Clean out Expansion joint (Dust free)

  • Clearwet dual surfaces

  • Install PU-Foam into crevice 5cm deep

  • Allow to dry approx 2 hours

  • Extract excess with extracting tool

  • Clean surface and apply primer

  • Install colour matched polyurethane to surface

  • Smooth polyurethane with application tool

Patios And Balconies

Cementitious latex based system

  • Remove debris from working surface

  • Clearwet surface for application

  • Apply cementitious substrate to area

  • Overlay area with polyfelt  non woven micro fiber material

  • Re-apply cementitious curing agent solution to polyfelt micro fibre

Showers And Bathrooms

Cementitious latex based system

  • Remove debris from working surface

  • Clearwet surface for application

  • Apply cementitious ubstrate to area

  • Overlay area with polyfelt micro fibre material uplap 2M

  • Re-apply cementitious curing agent solution to polyfelt micro fibre

Parapet Walls

Membrane Systems

  • Clean parapet walls (Dust free)

  • Coat surface with either bitumen or acrylic bonding liquid

  • Lay Polyester membrane onto liquid

  • Re-coat surface with either bitumen or acrylic bonding liquid

  • Finish with UV stable final coat or final colour

Tanking

3-4mm / Torch-On

  • Clean surface (Dust free)

  • Saturate vertical surface with bituprimer

  • Heat Welding 3-4mm Torch-On to vertical surface / foundation

  • Overlaps to be 100-300mm dependant upon spec

  • Preferably install softboard against waterproofing

Tanking With Drainage

3-4mm / Torch-On

  • Clean surface (Dust free)

  • Saturate surface with bituprimer

  • Heat Welding 3-4mm Torch-On to vertical surface / foundation

  • Overlaps to be 100-300mm dependant upon spec

  • Install 110mm Geo drainage pide for correct flow

  • Install Polyproperlene material  over pipe area

  • Install drainage pide for correct flow

  • Install 14-19mm drainage stone against wall / foundatio

  • Install 19mm ply / hard board against waterproofed area

Damp Proofing

Cementitious latex based system

  • Remove debris from working surface

  • Clearwet surface for application

  • Application of cementitious substrate to area

  • Re-Apply to areas 3-4 times @35 degree angles to last

Concrete slabs / large flat surfaces

EPDM

  • Remove debris from working surface

  • Area to be clean and free from oil and dirt

  • Lay Sized material to areas

  • overlap to specifications

  • Adhere EPDM to substrate

  • include overlap tape

  • fasten EPAM to areas to secure for updraft
